New York White Water Races at Phoenicia, only about 2 1/2 miles from Maidstone Lodge.  Amidst this forested playground is Maidstone Lodge Estate, encompassing 130 acres of the Catskills most spectacular terrain and ering an expansive residential and entertainment complex. A long, winding driveway, flanked by clusters of apple trees and cobblestone run-off ditches leads to the main residence, attractively terraced on three levels of stone tiers.
